Debt Forgiveness Act

I saw a sign today on my way that really got me thinking.
It said "Debt Forgiveness Act is About to Expire".
I mean I knew what it meant, or kinda sorta did.  But then it hit me.  "Wow, that is just like the most ominous sign for a wake up call if I ever saw one.!"
I mean, people, really, WAKE UP!
I have heard all of my life that Jesus was going to be returning any day.  It could be today.  It could be while I am writing this blog.
I know most of you may not want to think about that or even hear about it, but I would be remiss in my christian duties not to tell you that have never heard or not to remind those of you that have.
Jesus Christ, the forgiver of ALL sins, died on the cross for you and me, He paid the greatest price, the supreme sacrifice, for our forgiveness.  It was the ultimate price of debt forgiveness.  He paid with His life.
No more do we have to wear the rags of sin and shame.  The ultimate debt of forgiveness has been paid.
On the cross of calvary.  He paid with His blood.  His forgiveness flowed that day.  It covers a multitued of sin.
But just like that sign.  There are people that are in debt.  They have walked in sin and have earned its wages.  But instead of having to pay for those sins a way has been made.  All you have to do is repent and ask God to forgive you of those sins.  But some of you won't.  You ignore the sign.  You ignore the call to freedom.  And you will not know what it is like to have that burden of sin lifted off of you. 
Just like the many that drive by that sign and maybe don't believe it to be true or think that you still have time to take care of it.  But one day there won't be one day.
Like I said, I have heard all of my life that Jesus was going to be returning for His bride, His blood bought church, His redeemed, His beloved.  I look around at the signs of the time.  I believe we are living in those last days.  I believe that time is running out. 
When Jesus returns for His children the Holy Spirit will not be here to woo you, to call you.  You will have to pay the price yourself. 
Some of you may think, "Well if I miss it then I will just do the right thing until the tribulation is over."  Really?  If you can't live for God while the Holy Spirit is on the face of the earth to help you and guide you and give you strength, what makes you think you will be able to stand when you don't have that help?
Now is the time for all of us to get our lives in order.  Get our lamps lit and keep them burning.  Get that Ultimate Debt of Forgiveness applied to our wages of sin.
Because when He returns, and He will, The Ultimate Debt of Forgiveness WILL Expire.
